Houston, Texas is expecting nearly 250,000 people to celebrate the annual pro football championship this year, and we’re excited to be covering all the action for you!

There will be plenty of sites posting flyers to parties and giving you general surface information about Superbowl Weekend, however our purpose is to be your primary resource for this and every special event weekend going forward.

If for some reason our guide doesn’t answer all your questions, feel free to contact us here and we will help you find out what you need to know.

The Basics

Superbowl 51 will be played in NRG Stadium on Sunday, February 5th, 2017, and will be the first time since 2004 that the game is in Houston. Tickets for the game are starting at $4,000 via StubHub right now,
so even if you are in the city for the weekend, you may want to make alternative plans to watch it.

If you are coming from out of town, the best deals for hotel rooms are for 4 night stays, checking in on Thursday, February 2nd and checking out Monday, February 6th. The prices aren’t going to be cheap, with borderline 3 star hotels charging $400+ a night, but if you wait much longer you will be on the outskirts of the city. The best deals remain if you stay near near The Galleria or the airport.

The infamous vLive is unfortunately closed due to owing back taxes, but that hasn’t slowed down the scene. The all new G5 Houston (G5Houston.com) will be open in time for the big game, while other favorites like Chicas,

The internet was going nuts in September, when word got out that Drake was opening a club called “The Ballet” in Houston. Originally many thought it would be a strip club due to his infatuation with the city and the women who work in them, however that got cleared up quick, kinda.
